Birthday cupcakes? Heck yes!
Cookies and cream cupcakes from VCTOTW. Mmmhmm.
The littlest of sisters, attempting valiantly to frost one of the birthday cupcakes. Unfortunately, the frosting was too thick for the pastry bag, so we really just made a mess.
The only cupcake we managed to frost with the pastry bag method.
The other cupcakes were pretty, though, ’cause they looked like they had a scoop of ice cream on them.
She did like the hat, and she promised to wear it. Yay!

that, my dear, is the biggest mound of icing i’ve EVER seen on a curpcake, and i’m including ones i’ve seen at the giant! i see you still have a weak spot for gobs of sugar =)

I would actually venture that this icing was not as sugary as the buttercreme you and I made… and I think that picture’s a little bit deceptive, the piles weren’t that huge.
